New to linux, testing different flavors needed?

For someone new to linux, is testing/learning different distros needed?
This is for small business server applications. Let's say dhcp, dns, maybe internal web server... etc. For example, lets say the company wanted to set up an internal blog for posting company notifications.
I am currently playing with Centos 7 and got it installed last night.
Would it be worth the time to set up another testing machine for another distro? Or just learn one and go that that?
