Easiest virtualization on Lenovo ideapad 320-15iap

Hi everyone!

I recently suffered a catastrophe on my main desktop machine and will be restricted to the laptop mentioned in the title of this post, for the duration.

I will manage to perform all of my work necessary using Slackware 14.2

What I will not be able to manage is run some old WinXP games to my heart's content. While I managed to partition the main disk to run a Win10 in dual-boot, its incompatibility to old games is seriously lacking.
(I've tried, but failed repeatedly, to install Win7 instead, but to no avail)
My solution incorporated enabling an XP mode in win10 through virtualization, but due to the hardware limitations, xp running inside a win10 eats up all of my resources and any games I run suffer.

What I require is a solution that will enable running a WinXP OS under Slackware, where I will be able to launch the games in full-screen.
If you can provide as detailed as possible instructions, it would be very much appreciated.

Alternate solutions may include: Windows XP full installation on physical disk/partition from which I can run games. That OS only requires a touchpad driver and from time to time, being able to control USB ports (the grand total of two of them). The same can apply for Windows 7 as well, but I'd like to save up as much of the 4GB RAM as possible.

This is not an urgent issue, but I would like to be able to make it run without a hitch, in whatever scenario that fits best.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=BZd-V1eH1Io:U5ixep-iB14:F7zBnMy latest?i=BZd-V1eH1Io:U5ixep-iB14:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=BZd-V1eH1Io:U5ixep-iB14:gIN9vFwBZd-V1eH1Io
