First female officer appointed Queen’s Guard captain –video

Capt Megan Couto has become the first female officer to command the Queen's Guard at Buckingham Palace. Captain Couto is Canadian and her unit, the Second Battalion of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (2PPCLI), has been invited to the UK to help celebrate Canada's 150th anniversary
