Preliminary finding prompts questions about maintenance of infrastructure by government-owned Essential Energy
Power lines were the likely cause of the devastating bushfire that swept through the small town of Tathra on the New South Wales south coast on Sunday, a preliminary investigation has found.
The investigation by the Rural Fire Service has found "electrical infrastructure on Reedy Swamp Road" as the likely cause.
