Outgoing independent MP Kerryn Phelps speaks to media in Sydney after conceding defeat to Liberal candidate Dave Sharma in the seat of Wentworth. Phelps talks about her achievements during her seven months in office. "I operated in Canberra with conviction, with integrity and a belief that individuals can impact on the political conversation," she says, listing her advocacy for stronger action on climate change and getting refugees off Manus Island and Nauru as things she is proud of.
