New Game Dungeon! This is an intentional post-Halloween episode since I felt like this game had a good Halloween vibe to it, but wasn't spooky enough in itself to qualify. It's been kind of intense coming out with this many videos, I started it all pretty much after the Sonic episode and the past 2 weeks it's basically been almost all I've been doing. More videos coming, but I'm going to have to slow down the pace a bit! I'm definitely looking forward to the next non-Game Dungeon, it's one I've been trying to make for a year or two now.

Halloween Game Dungeon! This is a game I was always considering making an episode of before, so this year I tackled the beast head on. Have a Happy Halloween! New special "Halloween hangover" episode coming in a few days!

First Halloween Game Dungeon! This is sort of a warm up to a bigger one coming soon! This may have more minor editing errors in it than perhaps any other episode, but I've been trying to break my perfectionist tendencies anyway so I have more time to eventually throw at the movie. Additionally, due to the way this video was made, fixing them would have delayed its release a full day and I have to push forward with the next one into Halloween! More Halloween coming!

As a reminder, I'll be doing a stream of Secret World: Legends tomorrow at 5pm UTC. I normally don't announce the streaming sessions here (except in the upper right corner), but I was hoping to get a few more people to join in on this one to maybe do raid content. It's free to play, but you may not be able to join in everything if you have a low level character, though I'll do some stuff that lvl 1 people can do also. In the game, we'll meet at the fountain outside of the Templar building in London. My character name is Griddlecakes and I'll be wearing a hazmat suit.

Freeman's Mind 2! This took WAY too long, but a whole lot happened in the meantime to cause that. I wasn't joking in the past when I said working on this affects where I can live due to the shouting, but everything seems to be back in place. I've also changed the thumbnail style, something I've been meaning to do for a year or two to be honest. I plan to retroactively change the others later on, but who knows when I'll get to that.

New Dead Game News! I was not planning on making this at all! This news emerged yesterday and bugged me so much I decided to slap together a video on it as soon as I could. Hopefully more like this are not needed! Freeman's Mind still coming and work will be resuming on Halloween stuff!

New Game Dungeon! This took way, way longer than it was supposed to. The original plan was to have this be under 20 minutes released last month. Instead, the game hit me pretty hard so I just didn't want to leave so much out. Anyway, it's finally done and I'm pretty happy with it, though I'm really going to have to go back to shorter episodes for a while. I think I figured out the source of some of my problems in the game since I made it, but not all of them. On another note, I discovered a bug in Premiere hours ago, where it simply interpreted FRAPS footage improperly. It actually caused stalled frames and the timing to change. This came as a bit of a shock as I didn't notice it until very late in the process. Re-encoding into another lossless codec solved the problem, but I wasn't going to do that for 1.5TB of footage (the gameplay was recorded losslessly) without delaying the video another day at least. I solved the most egregious problems, but it's possible there are some small problems left in there that I missed. I can release one of the problematic clips for testing if people are interested, though I should see if I can chop it without re-encoding as it's about 30GB on its own. For anyone critical of fraps, feel free to recommend software for recording DirectX 5-8 content with hardware antialiasing enabled (it may not behave how you think). Freeman's Mind next! Should come much faster!

The third Game Dungeon Follow-up! This ended up taking about as much time to make as I thought it would, though it's a little deceptive, since I did an overkill amount and had to shelf a lot of what I was going to say for a future follow-up episode. I tried to limit it to what I thought most needed a response instead. More videos planned for this month, "Coming soon!"

My mouse is starting to die on me and that made me frustrated trying to find a new one. I ended up making a graphic of a mouse I'm pretty sure no one besides me wants, but some of you might find some individual parts of it appealing. I wasted time making this, but it felt cathartic.

I went through all the games in the Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality on itch.io and picked out ones I liked. It was a rapid-fire process, but that was the only sane way for me to deal with this many games. Itch.io had a gigantic game pack for sale a week or so ago, that ended up coming to 1700+ games. The majority of this stuff looked like games I wasn't interested in, but there were some promising ones. I was going to attempt to filter through these on a livestream to see which ones I was interested in, and which I would pass on if people are interested. This will of course be to my own tastes (you can see those in my games list video), but I'll explain my rationale. In any event, some people may want to check the video afterwards at the end and see what I whittled down the list to. I originally thought I would be able to do this in one sitting, but that was back when it was "only" 700 games. I'll just go at it for a few hours and see how many I get through. If you ever wanted to know all my thoughts on the GUI, here you are! This has honestly been brewing in my mind for decades and while this video took way too long to make, it's an accomplishment for me that I was able to put this into something coherent. I'm really hoping this leads to somebody bestowing GUI enlightenment upon us, though I'm not betting on it. This post also doubles as a thread for people to post any helpful information regarding my GUI quest at the end of the video. Thanks in advance for anyone who finds some answers!

Here's the longest videochat with fans so far. The sound quality isn't great since I'm still setting up in my new apartment and haven't dampened it yet. There's nothing too important here, I advise against watching this unless you're really bored, which you might be if you're stuck at home. More real videos coming!

The region I'm living in has declared a pseudo-quarantine and are discouraging people from going out more than necessary. This actually won't affect the videos too much, but may delay my move. I'm also going to suspend FM2 Episode 14, since I should probably cut back on constant shouting since a lot of people will be at home in the apartments around me now. Episode 13 is still due out ASAP and I'll be working on the upcoming side video / Game Dungeon / movie instead.
