Live Long and Prosper, Leonard Nimoy

It is a sad day for Science Fiction and film fans.

Leonard Nimoy, the sonorous, gaunt-faced actor who won a worshipful global following as Mr. Spock, the resolutely logical human-alien first officer of the Starship Enterprise in the television and movie juggernaut "Star Trek," died on Friday morning at his home in the Bel Air section of Los Angeles. He was 83.

The New York Times has the details.

Live long and prosper, Leonard.

I must need to air out my cave, but I'd never seen/heard him sing and had never heard of this little gem. He's actually pretty good, and that he can do that material with a straight face? *That* is acting!!
