Former NFL receiver Chad Johnson made a sizable donation to help get a Baltimore track team to Kansas City for the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships.

On Tuesday, Twitter user @TariqToure shared a link to a GoFundMe page set up by the Turbo Track Club to help cover its travel expenses.

Huge request.

Johnson, whose daughter Cha'iel won the 800 meters at the Junior Olympics in each of the past two years, saw the tweet and responded by donating $2,200 towards the $5,000 goal. As of Tuesday afternoon, the total stood at $4,300.
