Observers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp noticed starting quarterback Jameis Winston was walking with a limp Friday. By Saturday morning, the franchise was wearing a brace on his left knee.

Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter threw cold water on any burgeoning fire after practice. He stated that the brace is merely something Winston is experimenting with as an extra means of protection.

"So, Jameis was going to start wearing the brace yesterday; the brace that they sent didn't fit right so they had to get a new one sent in," Koetter said after practice. "We're demo-ing out. A lot of quarterbacks in the league wear knee braces on one leg. ... It has nothing to do - he doesn't have any injury, there's nothing there. It's all preventative and precautionary and we'll see how it goes."
