NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell entered his personal house of horrors Thursday when he arrived at Gillette Stadium to watch the New England Patriots take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in preseason action.

It's Goodell's first appearance in New England since the "Deflategate" saga after the 2014 AFC Championship Game, which culminated in a four-game suspension for Tom Brady to begin the 2016 season, a forfeiture of the Patriots' 2016 first-round and 2017 fourth-round picks, along with a $1-million fine.

Here's a low-resolution photo of Goodell hanging out with Patriots owner Robert Kraft before kickoff:

Although it's merely the preseason, Patriots fans are expected to unleash their vitriol on the commissioner, still feeling wronged by the harsh sanctions of "Deflategate."
