Seeking Asylum, not Technical help just yet.

Greetings one and all.:hattip:
I finally decided back in April, that the time was right to abandon the MS 'modus operandi' and join up with a much nicer sort of organization. My home built machine now only has Linux Mint 19.2 Tina 64-bit, Kernel Linux 4.15.0-65-generic x86_64, MATE 1.22.0 as the only operating system; the CPU is an AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ i- 2 and the RAM is only 3.9 GiB. Yes it is a bit dated, but in 2007 my budget was a little limited, but this machine has performed remarkably well ever since it was built and LM makes it sing like never before.
The only problem now is the ageing relic between the chair and keyboard, but I am very happy with my new LM OS and I'm finding it a great source of inspiration to keep the 'grey matter' up to speed.
Looking forward to mind expanding times within these forums.
