booting from thumbdrive, I can't load firefox with add-ons for sessions or tabs
by toddly from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4RRDR)
The linux on my laptop died because of a corrupted Light Display Manager. After over a month of trying to fix it, I gave up and am now booting from a thumbdrive.
Consequently, I can only see/access my files and desktop when I go to:
1.0 TB Volume - home - todd - downloads
In my downloads file I find "firefox.desktop" and STG-backups and MySessions. The last two refer to firefox add-ons for tab groups and firefox sessions.
The problem is that when I attempt to run "firefox.desktop" it comes up, but does not have the two add-ons, and therefore I cannot access my saved firefox sessions, including tab groups.
Am I missing something? Do I need to reinstall the add-ons to firefox every time I reboot from the thumb drive? If I do so, will the add-ons find and access my sessions and tab groups data?
Thank you!!!
