Can't Login Via SSH after changing password
by Mental-Octopus from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4RYB2)
Hi there,
I have a friend with a debian server with which he usually logs in via ssh but
recently he changed the password to one of his accounts and he could
no longer login through ssh anymore, it kept telling him the password
was put in wrongly. He also mentioned that it happened to him before, he has already verified that the password he typed in was correct by loggin into another account and switching the account he couldn't log in to with the "su"command and then typing in the password.
So he's wondering what could be the cause of that?
