The Tampa Bay Lightning recalled goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy on Friday, and reassigned fellow netminder Kristers Gudlevskis to the AHL's Syracuse Crunch.

The 21-year-old won four of six starts in his most recent stint in the minors, which was simply meant to get the young goalie more playing time. Though his record is impressive, this pair of saves in a win against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Thursday might have warranted the call-up on their own:

Gudlevskis has made just one start for the Lightning this season, back on Oct. 24, when Vasilevskiy was recovering from vascular surgery.

Meanwhile, starting goalie Ben Bishop left practice early Friday as a "precaution", according to Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Bay Tribune, but head coach John Cooper believes he will be available for Saturday's game against the Minnesota Wild.
