Ronaldo, Neymar ... Dak?

Referring to an athlete by a single name is commonplace in soccer, and according to Mississippi State's Dan Mullen, one NFL player has earned the same distinction.

Speaking at SEC Media Days on Tuesday, the head coach was asked about his former quarterback Dak Prescott, now a Dallas Cowboys star.

"Dak is on a one-name basis now in the sports world. That's pretty special," Mullen said, according to Chase Goodbread of NFL.com.

Prescott was an absolute stud for the Bulldogs under Mullen, finishing his four-year career with 9,376 yards passing and 70 touchdowns. The hulking pivot also added 2,609 yards rushing and 41 touchdowns on the ground in Mullen's spread-based attack.

Despite the college success, most people felt his skill set wouldn't translate to the NFL, and he wasn't selected by the Cowboys until the fourth round of the 2016 draft. Prescott finished his incredible rookie season with 3,667 yards passing and 23 touchdowns against just four interceptions.
