Philip Rivers is one proud quarterback.
Congratulating his former teammate on receiving football's highest honor, the longtime Chargers leader put together a video message for LaDainian Tomlinson ahead of Saturday night's Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony.
Rivers not being in attendance for the weekend festivities, a move that was first reported to be a result of the Chargers blocking him and tight end Antonio Gates from making the trip, provided something of a controversial storyline over the past few days.

He was still able to add a special touch to his message, though, heading back to the club's now-former San Diego stadium and recording from the endzone where Tomlinson set the all-time single season touchdown record back in 2006.
