With Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell and Oakland Raiders offensive tackle Donald Penn recently announcing ends to their respective contract-related holdouts, Los Angeles Rams All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald remains the most prolific name yet to report to his team.

As he remains unsatisfied by a contract set to pay him just $1.8 million for 2017, the Rams have had their eyes set on a fellow All-Pro player.

The team announced Monday they plan to sign 56-year-old running back Eric Dickerson to a one-day contract, according to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times, allowing the Hall of Famer to retire as a Ram 20 years after his final game played with the organization.

Dickerson played four-and-a-half seasons with the Los Angeles Rams from 1983 to 1987, leading the league in rushing yards in three of those years. He went on to play six more seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Raiders, and Atlanta Falcons - but he led the league in rushing just once more.

Dickerson retired as a free agent after playing just four games for the Falcons in the 1993 season.
