You'll need one of these for all your data.

Amazon has the Netgear ReadyNAS RN212 2-bay diskless Personal Cloud NAS for $159.99, which is a price drop around $200. The $200 price had been the lowest ever for this NAS, so we're looking at an all new low here.

readynas-rn212-2uv7.jpg?itok=sB0Sr3t2A network-attached storage device is like a computer that only connects to your network and is always online. You don't use a keyboard and mouse to browse it, just a folder on a different computer. With several hard drives, up to two in this case, and the minimum amount of power necessary to run it, you can keep all your movies, music, and files (including backups of laptops and other computers) safe and highly accessible.

The Netgear RN212 has a 1.4GHz quad-core Cortex A15 processor, 2GB of RAM, supports both 2.5 and 3.5 inch storage drives, and supports 1080p streaming and transcoding. It has dual Gigabit Ethernet and an advanced file system for complete data protection. The UI can store your data in the cloud, and apps available on PC, Mac, and smartphones let you access it and secure it from anywhere. It comes with a three-year warranty as well.

You can also install the Plex Media Server on this NAS, and it is one of our recommendations for the best NAS to use with the software. Read more about Plex in this beginner's guide and how it can help you access all the media you want.

The NAS is diskless, so you'll want to add some high capacity hard drives (up to 16TB max).
