Given the financial relationship Mozilla has enjoyed for the last decade they should be swimming in money. Apparently not. Users have reported seeing a messaging asking for a donation, wikipedia style. We all know that software does not write itself. Resources are needed. Given that Firefox now resembles Chrome so much, taking into account the jettisoning of the plugin system which makes Firefox so useful, I ask the Pipers: Would you donate today to Mozilla?

I would rather fund Palemoon.

Asking for money after axing the plugin system and messing up the ui so badly that users switch? Geez.

Pretty lousy write-up. Doesn't mention current revenue, fundraising targets, what they want to use the money for, etc. Vague statements like "swimming in money" are meaningless and best avoided.
