Looking for recommendations; In your opinion, what's the fastest pistol you can buy for around $2k?

Fastest in terms of follow up shots, not rate of fire. Currently I'm leaning towards the CZ TSO 2 whenever it becomes available, but maybe there's something out there that I'm not aware of.

I know at this price point I'm not going to get any crazy nice open division gun, but if I just want to have fun and pretend to be John Wick what would you recommend? Call it arbitrary, but I really want a gas pedal/thumb rest. I'd also like it to be optics ready out of the box but this isn't mandatory.
