Chatting with the AC forums. As time goes on, our smartphone wants/needs tend to change. Technology improves, certain features get better, and this can result in previously necessary things becoming nothing more than an optional luxury.Take expandable storage, for example. When phones shipped with much less internal storage and unlimited data plans didn't exist, being able to pop in a MicroSD card for extra space was often a necessity. Today, however, that's rarely the case.A few of our AC forum members recently got to talking about their current stance on expandable storage, saying: sweetypie31 12-31-2020 11:19 AM “ No SD slot doesn't bother me. As long as the actual phone comes with at least 256 gb I'd be good. Reply sbhnet 12-31-2020 11:39 AM “ I'd need a terabyte to drop the SD as that's ...

Amazon has a unique bundle that features two EufyCam security cameras and an additional motion sensor on sale for $199.99 when you use the code EUFYCAM8810 during checkout. This system was selling for as much as $500 at the beginning of December. The package dropped down to $300 just a couple weeks ago, and today's code knocks another $100 off the price. That brings it down to the single best price we've ever seen and one of the better deals on a EufyCam security system ever. The two-camera kit includes two very capable security cameras. These are completely wireless devices that are super easy to install. They are also IP67 rated, which means they can resist both water and dust to a high degree so you can place these cameras outside and not worry about the weather. The convenience of being able to place these outside with a wireless setup would be nullified if the battery sucked, but luckily for you it doesn't. The cameras are designed with batteries that can last for up to 365 day...

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers already beat Matt Ryan's Falcons two weeks ago, when they came back from a 24-7 deficit to win the game. Reminiscent of the Super Bowl a few years ago. It's unfortunate for Matty Ice, but he has to end the season playing a tough opponent hungry for the playoffs. Here's how to watch this game live and online from anywhere.Usually, divisional games aren't so close together, but for whatever reason, these two teams are playing again for the second time in three weeks. On December 20th the Falcons looked impressive and took a commanding lead over the Buccaneers and Tom Brady. Only to fold in the fourth quarter and give up 20+ unanswered points and lose at the end. Now, the Falcons sit at (4-11) on the season with nothing left to play for, all while the Buccaneers are (10-5) that want to win but no matter what lose a tie-breaker against the Saints in the NFC South. So while this is a hugely important game for the Bucs, the Falcons are simply trying to win a...

Samsung's 10000mAh portable wireless charger has dropped to $34.99 through Best Buy. The device comes in pink and silver, but it's only the pink version that's on sale. Today's drop is the first major discount we've seen on this charger in more than six months, and you can find it price matched on Amazon as long as the deal sticks around. This is a great little device because it can charge via the USB-A port and via wireless charging. If you have a Qi-compatible device, like a smartphone or tablet, you can charge the battery by simply placing it on top of Samsung's power bank. This includes both Apple and Android devices, including the latest phones. You can use the USB port to charge a separate device at the same time as both methods will work simultaneously. You can get 7.5W output from the wireless charger and 15W output from the USB port. The 10000mAh battery is large enough for at least one f...

Baltimore is yet another team that has control over their own destiny and whether they make it to the playoffs or not. A win over the 4-10-1 Bengals will guarantee the Ravens a postseason spot. Simple as that.If the Ravens can't come up with a win on Sunday, they'll be looking for a Cleveland lost or Colts loss. Either way, the hope is that Lamar Jackson in the QB spot for Baltimore can come up with the big plays he has in recent weeks. He has had four games with a pass rating above 100. The Ravens will need a fifth week of that performance to help clinch a spot. While the Bengals aren't playing for any specific spot, backup quarterback Brandon Allen has been a boost for the team and will be playing to bolster his numbers. In week 16, Allen completed 29 of 37 passes and had two touchdowns.Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens: Where and when? The Cincinnati Bengals and the Baltimore Ravens play on January 3, at 1:00 PM ET. The 2020-21 NFL season was nothing short of a wild ride, but things are coming to a close. Sitting at the bottom of the NFC North we have the Vikings vs Lions, two teams that have each lost the last three games. However, this determines the last place in the division, and potentially draft order, so here's how to watch it live. Both of these teams have had an up and down season, to say the least, but at times it looked like all hope was lost in Detroit. Honestly, I didn't realize these two teams had such a similar record, which makes for a more exciting game than originally thought.Minnesota Vikings sit at (6-9) as they take on the (5-10) Detroit Lions. Matt Stafford is a bit beat up and didn't practice for part of the week so that's something we'll have to keep an eye on as the game continues. More importantly, Vikings All-star RB Dalvin Cook will miss the game after the sudden and tragic death of his father. As a result, expect an even bigger role for rookie WR Jefferson, not t...

Even in week 17, COVID-19 concerns are still plaguing NFL teams. Several positive tests have threatened this Steelers and Browns game, though it is still scheduled to go on as planned. So far no players have been exposed and are expected to be absent from the game, but team personnel have been the reason for practice facilities to be closed in the lead up to the matchup. For the Steelers, this week is about resting up and thinking about the playoffs.Pittsburgh will sit Ben Roethlisberger to give him rest and will start Mason Rudolph against the Browns. Mid-way through the 2020 season it was over for the Cowboys. They weren't making the playoffs by anyone's calculations. But here in week 17, Dalton and the team have put enough together in the remaining few weeks to still be in it at the very end.Of course, the Cowboys owe a lot to the other NFC East teams that have each punted on their chances to easily walk away with the division title. The Giants are hoping they can overcome the recent resurgence of Andy Dalton at QB along with Gallup receiving and stop the Dallas offense from going off again.Washington Football Team are still the favorites going into Sunday's games, but the Cowboys are the more interesting storyline. This season is the first time the New England Patriots lost four games in a row since the year 2000. If the New York Jets beat them here in week 17, they'll have lost four in a row twice this season. That's not something you can say often about any team run by Bill Belichick, who hates to lose. Either way, this is an exciting matchup you don't want to miss. For whatever reason, the Patriots have struggled this year. You can say they lost Tom Brady, maybe it was some of the all-star players who declined to play due to COVID-19, injuries, or potentially Cam Newton didn't live up to the hype. Either way, things have not gone according to plan. And if the Jets have any say in the matter, things will go from bad to worse to close out the year. The New York Jets sit at (2-13) on the season and won their last two games after going 0-13. Something is working, the defense is playing strong, and Sam Darnold finally looks comfortable. They barely lost to the Patriots 30-27 earlier in the year...

The Buffalo Bills have been tearing it up this year and will likely want to finish strong with a win against the Dolphins, though it ultimately doesn't change much if they do lose this week. On the other side of the ball, the Dolphins really need a win.Despite an impressive record of 10-5, the Dolphins remain out of the playoff picture going into week 17. If they lose and none of the stars align, the overall successful season could soon be over. (Even though a team with a losing record will win the NFC East division.)Luckily, the Dolphins do hold the keys to their own destiny. They simply need a win over the Bills to clinch their postseason ticket. The real question is does Buffalo rest its starters in anticipation of the playoffs or do they charge ahead full stream against Miami?Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills: Where and when? The Miami Dolphins take on the Buffalo Bills on January 3, at 1:00 PM ET. Tablets have seemingly always been on the brink of death, but I'm not counting them out yet.Everybody's always trying to predict and proclaim the death of tablets. We've seen it since the dawn of the first "phablet" devices like the original Galaxy Note; with a big enough phone, who needs to spend even more money on a bigger, less portable touchscreen device with more or less the same features? That argument actually holds some merit. There's just not much reason for me to carry around a third piece of tech that takes up more space in my backpack and, with additional accessories like a keyboard and stylus, can often reach upwards of $1,000. But tablets have their own advantages that neither phones nor laptops can fully match. They're con...

Android on the big screen needs to get a lot better in 2021.If you buy a Samsung phone, thinking about which apps run or not is barely an afterthought. After all, your phone is powered by Android and backed by the nigh-ubiquitous Google Play Store. Your banking app would be there. Your Snapchat and Instagram? There. That little bodega down the road that probably doesn't need an app? You can find it as well. But you won't enjoy the experience as much. For the most part, Android apps are built for phones, and that's holding them back.To be clear, Android apps, or Google Play apps as a recent editorial by the folks over at Chrome Unboxed suggest they be referred to, run on a variety of devices.
