The OnePlus 8 Pro is big, beautiful, and finally gives us all the features we've been hoping to see in a OnePlus flagship for years: IP water resistance and wireless charging. The back glass comes in some new colors this year — Glacial Green and Ultramarine Blue — but it's still a glass-backed phone, and that means you'll want to protect it so that you're not blowing hundreds of dollars repairing or replacing it. After extensive research, these are the best OnePlus 8 Pro cases you can buy.Flexible and functionalSpigen Liquid AirI've loved the Liquid Air line since it launched a few years ago, offering up grip on the back and sides of the phone while still being slim in the hand and even enough to work with PopSockets and magnetic car mount plates.$12 at AmazonGet a gripOnePlus 8 Pro Sandstone Bumper CaseSandstone adds plenty of grip to the 8 Pro's sizable backside, and while there's always the classic black, I'm much ore fond of the new Cyan color, which should ...

Don't miss a kick by following our Liverpool vs Aston Villa live stream guide below.Despite having won this year's title already, Liverpool will be determined to get back to winning ways after suffering a humiliating 4-0 defeat at the hands of last year's Premier Leauge champions Manchester City in their last outing. Aston Villa also have plenty to play for with Premier League survival on the line.Though this season's title race was all-but-decided before the unscheduled season break, home side Liverpool have had mixed results on their return to competitive football notching one draw, one victory, and one defeat. The points picked up in those games have been enough to claim their first league title in 30 years, though they were brought back down to earth with a bang in their most recent game at the Etihad.Aston Villa find themselves in a battle of their own at the other end of...

Eventually you have to just change the name of the phone to Pixel 5a, right?Where's the Google Pixel 4a? Your guess is as good as anyone's at this point. We don't know why Google hasn't announced it yet, but it's a pretty badly-kept secret that the Pixel 4a is effectively done, and it's close to launching — though it's been close for months now. And at this point, Google needs to consider just putting the brakes on it altogether and launching it as a Pixel 5a alongside the Pixel 5.If we remember back to last year, the Pixel 3a was launched on May 7 during Google I/O — and even that was a significant delay from what we initially expected. Now we're a full 14 months removed from the Pixel 3a, and there's nothing more than a glimmer of expectation that the Pixel 4a will launch imminently. Previous leaked launch dates pointed to May and June releases, which came and went without a peep, and the latest information still points to mid-July ... though after these delays, you can't...

Google has to have an idea of what to do with all the things it has bought over the years, right?Google has a tech addiction. Like many who suffer from the same affliction, it has a drawer filled with all the things it has bought but never used except its drawer is filled with corporate ownership papers instead of boxes and cables.Look back at Google's recent purchases: HTC hardware engineers, Nest, Motorola, Fitbit, bits and pieces of Fossil, and now North. Google has shelled out billions for these acquisitions and we've not seen much change on the consumer-facing side because of it. We expect more every time Google buys another company. Sometimes we don't get it.I'm not saying any of these purchases were a bad idea, I'm just saying that things like rebranding Nest products into "Nest by Google" or not having a third party oversee the manufacture of Pixel phones isn't exactly what we expected when we heard Google had bought yet another hardware brand.I'll go a step furt...

One of Amazon's daily deals features the Eufy Robovac 11S Max robot vacuum cleaner on sale for $169.99. That's a huge discount compared to the 11S Max's normal price around $250 when sold by Eufy directly, and it's better than the average street price around $220. This deal only works on the black version of the robot vacuum as the white one is still going for around $250.The 11S Max is one of our favorite Eufy vacuums in 2020, and it's up there because it's one of the most powerful when it comes to suction. The device has 2000Pa suction, which is significantly more than other similarly-priced robot vacuums. Despite the power, it also maintains a super quiet operation and a slim design. The RoboVac needs to be slim, and it's only 2.85-inches thick, so it can fit in tight places including under furniture and chairs. Plus, despite having all that suction, the robot vacuum is smart enough to know how much suction it needs. The BoostIQ technology built in lets it know when to increase ...

Working from home can be a daunting thing if you've never done it before, but truth be told, it doesn't have to be. In fact, as someone that's been working from home for a few years, it's can be great. However, that does come with a big caveat — you need the right gear. Android is the most security-driven operating system in the world, and one of the least private. We all tend to equate security with privacy. I'm not talking about public security, where there is debate over encryption and why Apple and Google won't just hand everything over to the FBI, I'm talking about our personal digital security.Security is really an easy subject to understand once you break it down to its core: your electronic devices — whether they be a phone, a laptop, a smart doorbell, or anything else — should only be operable and accessible by you. If I can pick up your phone and rifle through its contents or see the video your Ring Doorbell collects, something, somewhere isn't secure. It could be as simple as you haven't used any available tools to set up personal security like a lock screen on your phone, or it could be an existing exploit that allows me to connect remotely. In the end, all that matters is that if I can get into your stuff, it's not secure. S...

What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear "smart sprinkler system"? Is it automated scheduling, or the ability to control your home's sprinklers from afar? While those are certainly two good reasons to consider a smart sprinkler system, they aren't the best reasons. Smart sprinkler systems can also help save water by intelligently water your yard, garden, or flower beds with individual settings to cater to the types of plants, soil, and even real-time weather in your area. Our favorite is the Yardian, which does most of these things, but there are some other options.Best Overall: YardianWhen it comes to price and capability, there is no other smart sprinkler system that offers quite as much as the Yardian. The Yardian already offers a great bang-for-your-buck, but on top of that, the outdoor-grade weatherproof controller features a security camera built into it, which adds further value to this home automation system. With 720p resolution video, an ultrawide 115-...

Kicking off the next generation of wireless. All of the major U.S. carriers are hard at work on their 5G strategy. AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon have launched 5G networks and are aggressively expanding those networks through 2019 and into 2020. Recently, Sprint's 5G network was devoured by T-Mobile and taken offline as T-Mobile refarms Sprint's spectrum. 5G service not only provides faster speeds but also reduced response times allowing for new services and cloud computing not previously available. For now, the major difference between LTE and 5G will be speed but as coverage continues to roll out to new areas, more services that rely on instant connectivity should become possible.Jump to:VerizonT-MobileAT&TFrequencies and coverage Carrier Bands Verizon n261 (28GHz) T-Mobile n71 (600MHz) n260 (39GHz) n261 (28GHz) n41 (2.5GHz) from Sprint AT&T n5 (850MHz) n260 (39GHz)Building a 5G network is a balance between capacity and c...

Juve have recorded three consecutive victories since the return of league football in Italy and will hope to continue their winning ways as they chase their ninth successive Serie A title. Maurizio Sarri's men progressed to the Coppa Italia final as football returned to Italy only to be handed defeat by Napoli. These are by far my favorite true wireless earbuds.Back in February before the world fell apart, I was in an art gallery building in New York City, where Samsung gave the press an early look at its upcoming Galaxy S20 series. In the demo room, there were plenty of phones laid out in different filming sets, but Samsung had also placed a few of its new Galaxy Buds Plus in the room.
