A deadly new addition to the ranks of Mastermind abilities. What you need to knowResident Evil Resistance is the asymmetrical multiplayer spin-off game included with Resident Evil 3.A new update has brought in Nicholai as a Mastermind.Nicholai has new abilities and can control Nemesis.Resident Evil Resistance is continuing to be updated by Capcom, with Jill Valentine added as a Survivor shortly after the game's release. Now, Nicholai has been introduced as a terrifying new Mastermind, complete with the ability to control Nemesis. In an interview on PlayStation Blog, Capcom also revealed that the Nemesis project actually began as an attempt to artificially create the Plagas parasite seen in Resident Evil 4. While Jill Valentine, Nicholai and Nemesis are also in Resident Evil 3, it's important to remember that Resistance is a non-canon, "what-if" type game. Hopefully we'll continue to see new updates bringing additional Survivors, Masterminds and maps.In my review of Reside...

Let me teach you how infrared light works. You may have heard that people have discovered the OnePlus 8 Pro's dedicated "color filter" camera has a bonus feature: it can see through (some) plastic. The capability, generally now being dubbed as an "x-ray camera," has picked up steam and of course immediately switched gears to privacy concerns after some discovered it can partially reveal what's behind very thin clothing as well.Let's set things straight: the OnePlus 8 Pro's color filter camera is not an "x-ray" camera, nor is it actually designed to let you see through objects. This would be pretty cool, from a technical perspective, particularly if OnePlus actually knew this beforehand (it didn't) — but sadly, there's a much more mundane explanation. The color filter camera only lets you see through objects that were actually already transparent — you just didn't know it, because your eyes can't see the same kind of light that the camera can. Let me explain. The color filt...

The Sanus Premium advanced tilt TV wall mount is on sale for $79.99. The wall mount normally sells for around $150 at Best Buy, and you'll find it going for that price most places. Similar models from Sanus also go for around $130 or so at B&H and other retailers. The drop to $80 is perfect and one of the lowest we've seen. The Sanus Premium wall mount can hold most TVs between 42 and 90 inches. You just need to make sure your TV has 200mm x 200mm or 600mm x 400mm VESA mounting on the back. Both options are fairly common. The wall mount can also support up to 150 pounds, so just make sure you're not using a particularly heavy model. Given how lightweight TVs are these days, that shouldn't be a problem even with a larger screen. When I decided to wall mount my TV, the main thing I was worried about was how difficult it was going to be. Honestly, it's not. Sanus does a great job of providing easy to follow instructions. The plate you secure to your TV is easy to put on. The one g...

Best answer: No! OnePlus worked closely with Amazon and Qualcomm to integrate the Alexa built-in feature at the app level rather than at the OS level so that it could be updated independently from the OS. Photography is the Pixel's trump card, and it has no chance of competing without it.It was recently made public that the head of Google's camera team for the past few years, Mark Levoy, left the company — which quickly sent people into a panic mode about the future of the Pixel's camera capabilities. Now I don't actually believe that Levoy leaving Google will suddenly torpedo the Pixel's camera, because the company is full of brilliant engineers that worked with Levoy and there will certainly be a continuity of thought there. But it is worth thinking about just how important his departure is, and what it could mean for Google if there's a noticeable impact in camera quality, when you take into account that the camera is the reason to buy a Pixel over other phones. Shot-for-shot, the Pixel's camera still outperforms every other Android.Sure you can toss caveats on that, if you want to try and knock the Pixel down a peg, because it doesn't have an ultra-wide lens, crazy zoo...

Chatting with the AC forums.Despite all of the criticism and controversy they're often met with, Google's Pixel phones regularly stand out as some of the most interesting Android handsets on the market. Another smart speaker to put on your radar.Over the past year or so, I've gotten really into the whole Sonos ecosystem. It started with a Sonos Beam for the living room TV, a couple of Sonos Ones for my office, and I'm still itching to add more to the collection. When they say your first Sonos speaker won't be your last, they aren't kidding. Here's the thing, though. Sonos isn't the only company out there offering high-quality speakers that can be used for multi-room audio. Marshall is also doing what it can to break into this space, with its latest attempt taking the form of the Marshall Uxbridge Voice. It's a mono smart speaker with a built-in voice assistant that can either be used on its own or part of a larger system. For all intents and purposes, the Uxbridge Voice is Marshall's attempt at directly competing with the Sonos One — arguably one of the most iconic speakers in the current Sonos lineup.I wouldn't go as far as to say that the Uxbridge Voice completely dethrone...

Researchers are looking at how health data from wearables can predict the onset of illness and the timing couldn't be better.Gizmodo has a really great article about wearables and health that you really should go read. It's extremely detailed and well written and focuses on how wearables might be able to warn a user that they are infected with COVID-19 before any symptoms manifest themselves.Complete with links to current and past studies from medical researchers, the article speculates that the sensors in a smartwatch or health tracker like a Fitbit can provide the right feedback to detect the early onset of COVID-19 so you know that you really should get tested. There is a pretty major stumbling block, though, and it's about the timing. While this sort of health tracking might not happen in time to combat COVID-19, it looks promising, and chances are that one day you'll know before you get the flu or any other infection or develop a chronic illness like Type-2 diabetes. How i...
