The ability to tag someone in your photo is finally here, but Google still needs to recognize the thing you are trying to tag. What you need to knowTagging is available on any photo that Google's algorithm recognizes a face or animal. The face in the photo can be a previously cataloged person or a new face to add. As with most Google features, this is rolling out in stages. The ability to manually tag a person in Google Photos has been a long-requested feature, and it seems that we are finally being heard. Android Police reported last week that the ability to tag a person in Google Photos was available in the code for app version 4.32, and for some folks, it's available now. I happen to have the feature live on my Pixel 4 XL, and it works well.To check if you have the option on your device, simply open a photo and either pull up from the bottom of the photo or click the three dots in the upper right. If in the panel that opens up has a pencil — congrats, you can manual...

Get that refund. What you need to knowGoogle Stadia is a cloud game streaming service that launched last week.Stadia Pro members get access to Destiny 2 and Samurai Shodown already. On December 1, they'll gain access to Farming Simulator 19 and Tomb Raider. If you already bought the December games, Google will give you a refund. Yesterday, Google Stadia announced that in December 2019, Stadia Pro subscribers — everyone at the moment — will gain access to Farming Simulator 19 and Tomb Raider as part of their subscription. This works similar to the way Xbox Live Games with Gold works on Xbox One. If you're an active member, you can keep on playing the titles, but once you stop paying for the service, you lose access to these "free" games. If you were one of the people who bought Farming Simulator 19 and Tomb Raider in the past few days, and just realized that you get them for free in December, Google will give you a refund for both. Save yourself the hassle and get a robot vacuum that actually does an amazing job of keeping your house clean whether it's sucking up dust, debris, or pet hair.Let's get real here folks. I've been hearing people talk about Roomba robot vacuums since I was a little kid. Like how Kleenex is synonymous with tissue paper, Roomba has equally become the household name for any robot vacuum. But should it be? I'm not against Roomba, they create a host of good products. However, they also charge more than many other robot vacuum companies. If you're looking for a powerful robot maid that can help you clean your floors and has several smart convenience features while still being reasonably priced, you should really check out Roborock's line.I absolutely love Roborock and use these vacuums in my home. Whoever decided this needed to be shipped in its current form shouldn't have a job anymore.Back in October of this year, Red Dead Redemption 2 was released to the world. Highly anticipated doesn't adequately describe how excited millions of people were to play this game. Every aspect of this epic Western had been hyped to death, such that it seemed impossible the game would live up to the anticipation and excitement. The size and scale of the open-world alone made me want to play, and weird details like horse balls actually shrinking when it was cold let me know this was going to be a ridiculous adventure across my friend groups for months.I picked up a physical copy of the game on Xbox One at Best Buy on launch day, sat down on my couch, and got ready to kill a weekend in the wild west. Even though I had physically inserted a disc into my Project Scorpio Edition Xbox One X, the install time for the game was still 86 minutes. Twenty minutes before the game finished installing, a ...

The iPhone 11 has a lot to offer in areas where Android phones continue to struggle.Aside from a cursory interest in the iOS ecosystem, I haven't cared much for iPhones over the years. The last iPhone I used with any regularity was the iPhone 6 Plus, and even then, it ended up being a secondary phone. Since then, I've used over a hundred Android phones, from $100 budget models to the best that Samsung, Google, and Huawei have to offer.I like using Android phones because of the sheer variety of options available from a hardware point of view — Xiaomi's 108MP Mi Note 10 is a perfect illustration of this. From bezel-less designs to RGB lighting and exciting gradient finishes, Android is what it is today because of its diversity. The iPhone looks boring by comparison: the notch hasn't changed in two years, the design at the back is far from enticing, and Apple hasn't switched to USB-C on its phones yet. But as I found out in the month that I used the iPhone 11, it gets a lot o...

It seems that in app version 67, Android Police found that Google is moving some of the navigation and call options buttons from along the left side of the screen to the bottom. This is a welcome change as phones continue to grow taller, causing it to be more and more challenging to reach those top buttons. History seems to be repeating itself. This is one of those "is it this way for everyone, or just me?" problems that I didn't think was a thing until I asked around. Our own Harish Jonnalagadda noticed that his Pixel 4 XL's oleophobic coating was all but gone in the bottom third of the screen with just a couple weeks of light use. I felt vindicated because I'd been observing my own Pixel 4 XL's screen retaining a ton of fingerprint smudges compared to all of my other phones. No, I wasn't crazy; and I wasn't alone in dealing with wiping off my Pixel's screen more often than any other phone I've used ... since the Pixel 3. Nope, it's not just you: the Pixel 4 seemingly has the same bad oleophobic coating. As a quick reminder, an oleophobic coating is a layer added to most touchscreen devices that helps it repel oils (technically the coating is usually lipophobic and hydrophobic). Disney+ is here and it seems to be a hit. With hundreds of films from the most popular franchises on the planet — not to mention thousands of TV episodes from our childhood — it's little wonder that Disney+ is popular. However, when errors invade your movie marathon, things are anything but magical. There's a few different errors Disney+ can spit out when things go awry, but Error 83 is by far the most prevalent error you come across. Here's a few of the reasons you may be seeing it, and what you can do about it.Reason #1 — Server timeoutError 83 is one of the most common errors. When the servers are overloaded and your Disney+ session can't connect to the servers fast enough to pass a DRM/account check — or can't connect at all — Error 83 is what Disney+ displays when it can't play your video as requested. This is far and away the most common reason to see Error 83, and dealing with it can take a few forms:Try again. The latest challenges leaked ahead of the weekly update.Fortnite Chapter 2 is officially here, and with it comes a significant change to the way players will be leveling up their Battle Pass. While Missions will still be in the game, players will no longer be competing for Battle Stars. Instead, the goal is to get normal XP. With a larger focus on XP and less grinding, players should be able to level up their Battle Pass even faster, earning a variety of rewards on the way.Unlike Season X's mission setup, there will be no time prestige missions, and the focal point is to simply complete tasks as you play the game. Instead of having to complete the same mission with added difficulty, now you'll just be unlocking new missions as you complete the ones already available to you. The eighth week of Fortnite Chapter 2 isn't live until Thursday morning, but that didn't stop the missions for the week leaking a bit early.Twitter user iFireMonkey — who is well-known for datamining...

These smartphones are normally expensive, so why not save for an incredible device? We've seen a lot of great new phones come out of 2019, and even some unique new form factors, but few releases this year have been more universally recommendable than Samsung's flagships. The Galaxy S10 was one of the first phones to introduce the Snapdragon 855, along with Samsung's One UI out of the box, and the Note 10 brought a more refined design and an improved S Pen stylus. The S10 and Note 10 are some of the most well-rounded phones of the year.Black Friday is more or less a month-long event at this point, and Samsung is participating with some great deals on every flavor of S10 and Note 10. Whether you prefer larger or smaller phones, or if you want to splurge on some extra storage, this is the perfect opportunity to save hundreds of dollars and get an incredible device.I've spent more time with the Galaxy Note 10 than almost any other phone this year, partially because I love its r...
