After taking the week off, the NASCAR Cup Series was back for the second half of the season. There were four cautions with two big wrecks during the race, with the worst one involving Ryan Blaney who smashed into the wall during lap 147 in Stage 2. Tyler Reddick was able to get the Stage 1 victory, his third stage win of the season. Denny Hamlin grabbed his fourth stage win of the season after winning Stage 2. As the race kept rolling, Denny Hamlin and Ross Chastin battled for the lead and Ross Chastin took the lead from Hamlin with 70 laps to go and never looked back. Ross Chastin secured the Ally 400 victory. It marked his third career win and his first win since Talladega in 2022.

Check out the highlights as the Birmingham Stallions defeated the New Orleans Breakers in dominant fashion 47-22. Quarterback Alex McGough threw for 310 yards and four passing touchdowns, he also added 84 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. Running back C.J. Marable added 72 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. With this win the Birmingham Stallions are back-to-back South Division Champions and will have a chance to repeat as USFL Champions next week agains the Pittsburgh Maulers.

Mexico faced off against Honduras in the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup on Sunday, June 25th, in Houston. Mexico immediately brought the fire, scoring the first goal of the match at 1' after Luis Romo struck the bottom right corner of the net from outside the box. At 23', Luis Romo tallied his second goal off a header from inside the box after a corner kick by Jesus Gallardo. Halftime arrived 2-0. Orbelin Pineda scored at 52' after a shot from the second of the box, widening Mexico's lead. The fourth goal came at 64' after Luis Chavez struck a left footed shot from the center of the box, and Mexico would finish with a 4-0 victory after two minutes of added time.
