At the MacNab YWCA, the therapy zoo returned to the seniors centre, as part of the Seniors Peer Connector program. Once a month an assortment of animals are brought in as part of its outreach program. On display to touch and hold: a meowing parrot, a pair of hedgehogs, a gecko and a ball python kept the program’s clients amused and entertained. Visitors to this session represented younger adults from the developmental services program.
