Atlas Obscura founder Dylan Thuras examines the friendship between Thomas Edison and Henry Ford through Edison’s last breath in an episode of their series 100 Wonders. A vial said to contain Edison’s dying breath was given to Ford as a gift and now resides at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.

Skier Ian McIntosh survived a staggering 1,600-foot fall down the side of a mountain while filming the ski and snowboard film Paradise Waits. McIntosh was wearing a microphone for the shoot, so the video of the fall includes his audio which thankfully ends in him announcing, “I’m okay.” via Vice Sports
