This particular monkey is my character from an old Kung Fu Panda tabletop. Monkey was very fond of steamed buns and most of our adventures featured Monkey sneaking off to go steal some buns (and probably some wine as well). Good times!

The original trilogy is sorely lacking in female characters, so you were a young girl who wasn’t into idolizing Princess Leia, your options for representation were pretty much over. I did really love Mara Jade, once I discovered the expanded universe, but it’s good to see a LOT more female faces in The Force Awakens!
