Matt Hendricks' pounding wasn't completely unforeseen.
The Edmonton Oilers forward returned from a three-game suspension Monday that he received Jan. 10 for boarding Florida Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad.

It just so happened that his first game back was against the very team his infraction came against, and after suggesting the opposition would play him physical, Panthers defenseman Erik Gudbranson got retribution.
The 24-year-old blue-liner dropped the gloves with Hendricks, delivering several devastating blows.
I guess they're even now.
