Blackhawks set franchise mark vs. Predators with 12th straight win
The Chicago Blackhawks set a franchise record with their 12th straight win Tuesday night, pounding the Nashville Predators 4-1.

In an all too familiar sight, forward Patrick Kane was the difference-maker. The 27-year-old collected a goal and an assist, giving him 30 goals and 71 points in 49 games on the season.

Newly acquired forward Richard Panik notched the game-winning goal early in the second period. It was his second tally of the season and second in as many games.
Rookie sensation Artemi Panarin extended his point streak to three games, delivering two assists. He now has 45 points on the season, the most among all rookies and 10 more than captain Jonathan Toews for second on the Blackhawks.

Goaltender Corey Crawford turned away 38 of 39 shots, as he pushed his record to 27-10-2 and set a new personal best with his ninth straight win.

The Blackhawks' streak matches them with the Florida Panthers for the longest in the league this season. The club now has a five-point hold on the top record in the Western Conference.
