First Look at the 2017 Wonder Woman Movie Teases the Superheroine’s Origin Story

Kevin Smith and Geoff Johns debuted the first look at the 2017 superhero film, Wonder Woman, during The CW's half-hour special DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League. The movie will star Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman (Diana Prince), with Chris Pine playing the part of her boyfriend, and tell the story of how she went from being an Amazon princess to the powerful superheroine that we know from the comic books. Wonder Woman, directed by Patty Jenkins, is currently scheduled to release in theaters on June 23rd, 2017.
