Sunday: Bike Works Warehouse Sale + Our calendar is now easier to use (& still free!)
Screenshot from our Bike Events Calendar. It's free to submit events, and now easier than ever.
The annual Bike Works Warehouse sale is Sunday (as advertised on this site). This sale is your chance to score great and unique deals while supporting Bike Works' amazing community and youth programming.
Have you been thinking about taking up a bike tinkering habit? It's a great way to spend rainy evenings. Or maybe you're looking to fix or upgrade your bike, but you're on a budget. Or maybe you'd like to try building up a bike from scratch. The warehouse sale is a great chance to get what you're looking for (and lots of stuff you didn't know you were looking for!).
So swing down to Columbia City between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday to see what they've got. Details from the calendar listing:
It's here again: The annual Bike Works Warehouse Sale!
Deep discounts on a huge selection of as-is bikes, frames, bike parts, accessories, trailers, trail-a-bikes, bike racks for automobiles, and much more. And if you buy a refurbished used bike from our Warehouse Sale, we'll pay the sales tax for you - that's 9.6% off.
The best part is that all sales benefit our youth and community bike education programming. We educate youth, recycle bikes, and make bicycling accessible to all. Thanks for your help doing this work!
Stay tuned for more info as the Warehouse Sale draws closer. We're working to secure a food truck and some other amenities. It will be a fun, festive day. You won't want to miss it!
Speaking of our Bike Events Calendar, I recently made some key updates to the software to make it even easier to use. For one, I squashed a bunch of bugs. So if you have had frustrations with it in the past, please give it a fresh try.
The biggest change is that you no longer need to log into Seattle Bike Blog in order to submit an event. Anyone can click the "Post an Event" button on the Calendar page and enter the details. We'll review all anonymous listings before they go live, but that usually happens within minutes or hours of posting.
So hey, if you don't have a bike event to list, then you should make one happen!
