Microsoft cloud revenues rise as phones plunge in its fiscal Q2

Microsoft has released its earnings numbers for the second quarter of its fiscal 2016. The company took in $23.8 billion in revenue, $6 billion in operating income, and $5 billion in net income for the quarter. Revenue fell 10% compared to this time a year ago, while operating income fell 23% and net income fell 15%.
