Nerf’s Doomlands Double-Dealer and Foam Zombie Strike Brainsaw Blasters Quickly Shoot Down and Chop Up Enemies
Before appearing at Toy Fair 2016, Nerf shared information with Popular Mechanics about their upcoming Doomlands series Double-Dealer and Zombie Strike series Brainsaw blasters. The toy weapons, which won't appear in stores until this fall, will allow you to quickly shoot down and chop up enemies with their foam darts and chainsaw blade.
The Double-Dealer, the latest blaster in the Doomlands line, features a cool crossbow-esque design. But instead of a bow, it has two side-mounted 12-dart magazines, each feeding into a barrel of its own. And you get to use both at once-the pump action blaster fires a duo of darts with each pull of the trigger.
Alongside the Double-Dealer, Hasbro's also releasing a literal (plastic) chainsaw in the Zombie Strike line. The Brainsaw's flagship feature is its spinning foam blade, mounted at the blaster's front like a bonkers bayonet, but there's long-range potential too, in the form of eight barrels which pack in four darts on either side of the blade.
