Another night in Calgary, another injury to an official.
Referee Mike Leggo was struck in the face on a clearing attempt by Flames defenseman Deryk Engelland in the first period of Calgary's game against the Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday night.
Leggo returned in the second period.
The comparisons to last week's incident involving Dennis Wideman and linesman Don Henderson might be unavoidable for some, but the Engelland play appeared to be far more innocent.
