A Disturbing Series of Alien-Like Creatures Created by Drawing Faces Onto a Person’s Back

Photographer AnaHell has created "Secret Friends" a rather disturbing but hilarious photo series of alien-like creatures by simply drawing faces onto the somewhat disembodied backs of her models and then dressing them up as particular characters with wardrobes and tangled hair. The photographer explained her process on Bored Panda.

I am a photographer who plays with the ordinary and deconstructs it to reveal another perspective. I take advantage of the immediate surroundings, often photographing close friends and family members in their own living spaces. Secret Friends are playmates, reflections, villains, strange and wonderful creatures from another world, the kind that children create when they're alone.
