Butcher Billy’s Illustrated Mashups of David Bowie With Pop Culture Icons and Bowie’s Epic Song Titles

Butcher Billy Changes Bowie is a "work in progress project" by Brazilian artist Butcher Billy where he illustrates mashups of one of his most cherished influences, David Bowie, with various pop culture characters and Bowie's epic song titles. Billy will be sharing one new illustration of Bowie per day on Behance, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

"I said that time may change me." Bowie has always had a huge impact on my career and personal life - his influence can be seen in tons of my art pieces and even past projects entirely dedicated to The Thin White Duke. I was just figuring out this concept having a couple of artworks ready when I've heard about the shocking news. In the wake of the event I was surprised to learn that so many people have been affected by his sound & vision just as I've been. So I've decided to make this my first work in progress project.
