A former Minnesota Wild player has chimed in on the club's recent struggles.

Journeyman center Zenon Konopka, who played 73 games for the Wild from 2012-14, believes head coach Mike Yeo is the problem and should be relieved of his duties.

The Minnesota Wild have so much talent. All the pieces to be Stanley Cup champs- wasting years isn't fair to the players or fans #YeohastoGo

He even got his famous pet rabbit Hoppy in on the movement.

I'm not saying Mike Yeo is a bad coach but change is due in Minny #YeomustGo pic.twitter.com/1GsdYh9lvt

Minnesota has gone 1-7-2 over the past 10 games, falling out of the Western Conference playoff picture despite having the NHL's ninth-highest payroll.

Yeo has been behind the bench since the 2011-12 season, guiding the Wild to a record of 150-110-34 and three straight postseason appearances, all of which came to an end at the hands of the Chicago Blackhawks.

His response to Konopka? Don't involve the rabbit.

Yeo on @ZenonKonopka: "I really don't care what he thinks. I was really disappointed to see Hoppy holding that sign." #mnwild
