Industrial Light & Magic has shared a breakdown of the amazing visual effects work that their global team contributed to Brad Bird's 2015 science-fiction mystery adventure film, Tomorrowland.
As the first-ever film finished and released in 4K high dynamic range, the work on the film presented numerous challenges not the least of which was creating the city of 'Tomorrowland' itself in a manner that would match into a much broader palette provided by the Dolby Vision HDR format.
