Toronto Maple Leafs forward Brendan Leipsic batted the puck out of the air and past an unsuspecting Ryan Miller to score his first career goal in his NHL debut, and give his club a 3-1 lead over the Vancouver Canucks.

The goal was extra sweet for Leipsic as his parents were lucky enough to be in attendance.

Leipsic's marker would hold up as the eventual game-winner as the Maple Leafs skated to a 5-2 victory.
