Flames' Russell, Jones, Stajan out vs. Ducks
by from on (#141ZE)
The Calgary Flames were without three of their regulars Monday against the Anaheim Ducks.
Defenseman Kris Russell and forward David Jones are both day to day with a lower-body injury, while forward Matt Stajan was also out of the lineup for maintenance reasons.
Hearing Kris Russell has been nursing a nagging injury for 6 days. Could not go this afternoon with the problem. #Flames

Russell - who is front and center in trade speculation ahead of the Feb. 29 deadline - has four goals and 11 assists in 51 games this season. The 28-year-old is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
