My Linux Mint gives no sound [Partly Solved]

Hi, so I must start by saying that I have good news and bad news about this problem of mine, the good news is that I found a solution to the problem, the bad news is that it just solves my problem temporarily. (Hence the partly solved in the title. What I need of you is a more permanent solution.)

So here's the problem, I'm on a old and weak laptop, an Asus X51L, I will be stuck with this for a month because my regular laptop is on warranty, so naturally I installed an easy distro just to get me by the month, I currently have Linux Mint 17.3, first the sound in the computer worked fine in my computer, then after an update it stopped working at all, I still don't know what is the problem, but I do know a solution and I have some ideas.

So I tried many solution, messing with alsa mixer, uninstall and install alsa and then force reload, installing pavu control, etc, etc.

However only one worked for me, I had to kill pulseaudio, force the reload of alsa mixer and then starting the pulseaudio again.

Like this:

Code:pulseaudio --kill
carlos@carlos-X51L ~ $ sudo alsa force-reload
[sudo] password for carlos:
Terminating processes: 1063
1063 2443
2443.
Unloading ALSA sound driver modules: snd-hda-codec-si3054 snd-hda-codec-realtek snd-hda-codec-generic snd-hda-intel snd-usb-audio snd-hda-controller snd-hda-codec snd-usbmidi-lib snd-hwdep snd-seq-midi snd-seq-midi-event snd-rawmidi snd-seq snd-pcm snd-seq-device snd-timer (failed: modules still loaded: snd-hda-codec-si3054 snd-hda-codec-realtek snd-hda-codec-generic snd-hda-codec snd-hwdep snd-pcm snd-timer).
Loading ALSA sound driver modules: snd-hda-codec-si3054 snd-hda-codec-realtek snd-hda-codec-generic snd-hda-intel snd-usb-audio snd-hda-controller snd-hda-codec snd-usbmidi-lib snd-hwdep snd-seq-midi snd-seq-midi-event snd-rawmidi snd-seq snd-pcm snd-seq-device snd-timer.
carlos@carlos-X51L ~ $ pulseaudio --start(Here is the link for a pastebin if it gets too confusing: http://pastebin.com/m6Ef6vte )

After this audio works fine, if plug in headphones it still works, however if plug them off the sound stops working again.

I can try to do the same thing, but it won't work until I reboot.

However I noticed a difference when I force reload alsa the second time before I reboot, the processes 1063, 2443, 2443 aren't terminated again (very probably because they were killed for good), that part is just skipped, I believe this processes are somewhat related to my problem, but I don't know what they are, or what they do.

So what I'm looking for? A permanent solution to my problem, I want to be able to listen to everything with or without headphones, if you could help me it would be very appreciated.
