Evander Kane will be back in the Buffalo Sabres' lineup Friday, the club announced.
Kane was suspended for a game after sleeping in Monday and missing practice. He was partying over the weekend, taking in NBA All-Star Game festivities in Toronto. He sat out Tuesday as a result and was apologetic.
"I'm looking forward to getting back on the ice and helping the team win," Kane said Thursday. "It was definitely a lesson. I'm going to make sure it was a lesson learned."
Kane has 16 goals and eight assists in 47 games. He has five goals in his last six games.
