Dog rescued from river flood in Peru - video

A dog got stuck on a small island in the middle of the rushing waters of the flooded Rimac river in the Peruvian capital Lima on Monday. A policeman attempts to rescue the pup but he is dragged underwater by the strong currents. A resident manages to reach the dog by using a tire. A rope is then tied around the dog who gets pulled by to the river edge by rescue workers
