British artist Emillie Ferris employs her incredible hand embroidery skills to create beautiful animal portraits that are amazingly realistic. Making these portraits, however, came about almost by accident.
I'm a 21 year old student based in Suffolk/Lincoln. I've always been enthusiastic about art and am particularly passionate about illustration, photography and design!"However I never considered embroidery until my 19th birthday when my boyfriend surprised me with an awesome kit of embroidery assortments to get started with (hoops, threads, material, etc..).
Ferris takes custom orders and offers many of her creations through her Etsy page.
