be quiet! updated its entry-level power supplies today with the Pure Power 9 series. The 80 Plus Silver-certified design is an evolution of the company's older L8 series. The major improvement in this model is its "Active Clamp + SR" design, which is claimed to improve efficiency and regulation compared to the outgoing model. The Pure Power 9 series also uses an improved fan motor and bearing to reduce noise levels.
