The rivalry between the New Jersey Devils and New York Islanders clearly extends to the AHL.

Tempers flared between the Albany Devils and Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Saturday, as the affiliates engaged in a massive brawl late in the second period.

When the dust settled, the clubs had more than 200 combined penalty minutes, while multiple players and coaches were ejected.

The melee left the benches a little thin.

The benches are so empty, this has the feel of an over-35 adult-league game. #BRIvsALB

Saturday's game was Albany's regular-season finale, meaning any potential suspensions would begin in the playoffs, while Bridgeport still has one game remaining - on Sunday afternoon - before their postseason begins.
