Prince Performing With the Muppet Hoo-Haw Ha Ha Ha Hayseed Band on ‘Muppets Tonight’ in 1997

Prince appeared as the guest on the premiere episode of the second season of Muppets Tonight on September 13, 1997. During the episode the late performer appeared in various sketches, told jokes with Gonzo, performed with the Muppet Hoo-Haw Ha Ha Ha Hayseed Band, and debuted the song "Starfish and Coffee" inspired by the menu at the Muppet commissary.
The legendary musician sadly died on April 21, 2016 of complications from the flu.
