Upon hearing the news of the tragic death of Prince, sand artist Joe Mangrum took to his favorite medium and in the middle of Washington Square Park in New York City, recreated the incredible Theo Wargo photo of the musician playing "Purple Rain" during the rainy Super Bowl XLI Half-Time Show in 2007.
