Hyperloop One successfully tested their magnetic levitation propulsion system on May 11, 2016 at a site in the North Las Vegas desert. The test is an important step in making the new high-speed transportation technology a reality. The test vehicle reached 120 mph in just two seconds, and hit a top speed of 300 mph before slowing down.
